How you can help
Volunteering gives you an opportunity to make a difference. You can use your skills and experience to help others, and the rewards are priceless.
As a club we rely on volunteers to make it work. There is something that everyone can get involved in whether it be a big or small role. It is really important that we get volunteers in order for the club to run as efficiently as it does.
This is just a few things that you could volunteer for:
Transport to and from matches or tournaments
Organising fund raising events
Volunteer at events held by Newbury Juniors
If you have any particular skills which you think we could use, then please talk to your child’s coach or contact Sharon Ettridge our Club Volunteer Co-ordinator by email:
We hold 2 cake stalls each year to help raise funds for Newbury Juniors. The first one is usually in March and we run this at the local Primary Schools Tournament, the 2nd cake stall is held at our own U11 and U12 Tournament normally held in June.
All monies raised from these events are put to good use, they fund coaching courses for our coaches to stay up to date on the latest skills and practices being delivered some of the Superleague Directors - Tamsin Greenway Director or Wasps Netball and Mikki Austin, Director of Surrey Storm.
